How Big Is a Perfect Order Master Set?
A master set includes every card plus every reverse holo version. Collector estimates put a Perfect Order master set at around 203 cards once reverse holos are included. That is a manageable size compared with some larger sets.
Tips for completing the set
- Open packs for the main set and reverse holos.
- Use a checklist to track every number.
- Trade duplicates at your local league.
- Buy Illustration Rares and Special Illustration Rares as singles if pulls are slow.
- Store the set in a 9-pocket portfolio, which suits Perfect Order perfectly with its matching Mega Zygarde artwork.
Using a Perfect Order Checklist
A printed or digital Perfect Order checklist makes collecting far easier. List every number from 001 to 124, then tick each card as you pull, trade or buy it. Add a second column for reverse holos if you are chasing the master set.
Here is a simple way to organise your Perfect Order checklist:
- Main set (001 to 088): commons, uncommons, rares and Double Rares
- Illustration Rares (089 to 099): 11 full-scene cards
- Ultra Rares (100 to 117): full-art Pokemon ex and Trainers
- Special Illustration Rares (118 to 123): six top art cards
- Mega Hyper Rare (124): the gold Mega Zygarde ex
Keeping your Perfect Order checklist next to your binder means you always know which pockets are still empty. It also helps when trading, because you can quickly see which duplicates you can spare.
Why Mega Zygarde ex Leads the Set
Zygarde is the Legendary Pokemon of order, so it fits a set called Perfect Order. In the set’s story, the city beats in sync with the Pokemon and people who live there, and Mega Zygarde ex, the Legendary Pokemon that embodies strength in numbers, keeps the peace. Collectors love Mega Zygarde ex for its bold design, while players value its huge HP.
There are four versions of Mega Zygarde ex to collect: the Double Rare at 047, the Ultra Rare at 104, the Special Illustration Rare at 120 and the gold Mega Hyper Rare at 124. Collecting all four makes a striking binder page.
Mega Evolution reminders
Mega Zygarde ex follows the Mega Evolution rules of the era. It is powerful, but your opponent takes three Prize cards if it is Knocked Out. Players build around it with healing and protection cards.
