About the Pokemon

Rotom is the Plasma Pokemon, an Electric and Ghost type first discovered in Sinnoh. It can possess household appliances, changing its form into versions like Heat, Wash, Frost, Fan and Mow. That playful nature makes it a favourite subject for artists.

Why Collect Special Illustration Rares?

Special Illustration Rares are the top art cards of a set. They are numbered above the main set and are very hard to pull, so buying the single is the surest way to own one.

Condition and Shipping

Every single is shipped in a penny sleeve, a toploader and a team bag, then packed in a protective mailer, so it arrives in the same Near Mint condition it left our shelf.

Display It

A magnetic holder or a premium binder page is the best way to show off this card. Keep it away from sunlight and handle it by the edges.

Grading Thoughts

If you plan to grade, check the centring and corners under good light. Near Mint copies are a great starting point for a high grade.

Phantasmal Flames is one of the early sets of the Mega Evolution era, and its art cards are likely to stay in demand with collectors who are building the era from the start.

Fans of Ghost and Electric types will also enjoy this card, and it looks great beside other playful Pokemon art.
